Courting sponsors is all about building relationships, so when the ICA - Igbo Community in Aberdeen contacted HR Hub Plus Limited to sponsor the Exceptional Achievement Award of the Year category at the just concluded ICA Gala Night & Recognition event we did not hesitate to say YES. Our Director, Edward Obi represented us at the event and handed the awards over to the recipients.
The Exceptional Achievement Award of the Year category recipients were individuals who have made an outstanding difference to their life, community, or organisation. The three recipients are listed below:
Dr Adaeze Ifezulike MBE , who was awarded an MBE for services to health inequalities in Scottish BAME communities.
Deena Tissera the first woman of colour to be elected to the Aberdeen city council.
Jai Aenugu CISSP the founder of TechForce Ltd, UK's 2nd best Cyber Security company, and an individual who passionately supports the local community by fund raising for important causes.
It was such a great feeling handing over the awards to th+ese outstanding individuals.
